Hello Everyone!
My name is Joanne McQuirie. ( say like: Mic-Quee-Ree) I have been teaching Elsi Isle for the past 150 years. And, I have to say, I have a great group of students in those years!

I'm an Art & Music teacher. I learned to play my first musical instrument, the trumpet when I was only 5 years old. I love playing instruments and teaching children how to learn as well. It is a joy in my life. I would have never found a more fun and nice job to do.

I did my first art piece when I was 7, it was of a tree with apples. I called it, "Tree." Then later on when I was on my 12th painting, it was abstract,and it was called "The Dancer." That piece took me 2 years to do. I was 300 when I started it.
